Designing Artwork for my Fingerprint Charms

These were some sketches (thumbnails) of ideas I was playing around with when I was trying to do a logo type thing for my newly designed fingerprint charms.

Below is what I ended up with but you can see where it evolved from.

I wanted something that would incorporate the graphic pattern of the fingerprint and that would symbolize love and a heart connection.

I was happy with how this came out. I like the clean lines and the kind of organic silhouette of the heart.

I find that doing a bunch of "thumbnails" or small black and white sketches helps me explore thoughts and ideas. They are fun to look back at too.
