Anyway, I sent him some special buttons to finish off his creations and this is one of the bracelets he brought home to us. It was originally made for our son because he LOVES eagles…but lucky for me it didn’t fit his wrist and I got it! Steve has since made a new one for him.
When he was home a few weeks ago he taught us all how to make them and had the whole family knotting and braiding. We hunted for the cord in different colors while on a recent trip but haven’t found any yet.
I love wearing it and thinking about his hands creating it.

That's pretty neat. I wouldn't mind having one. I am former military, too.

That's fantastic. My best friend was in Iraq, but she never did this -- I wonder if just the guys did it?
I love them. They mean quite a lot in so many ways.
