Amazing Detail

This was a type of starfish (I think) we saw in an aquarium on a recent trip to St. Andrews by the Sea in New Brunswick, Canada.

I just can’t take my eyes off of this lovely creature. The more I look at the twig like scrolls them more I see. It is like a delicate sculpture with movement and texture.

I love the porcelain color and the little spikes that balance the fluid swirls.

It is hard to believe that at one point this was alive and made by Mother Nature.
