Unusual Jewelry Findings - From a Belt?

When looking for pieces for interesting pendants, I like to keep my mind open.

This is a necklace that I made a few years ago.

It features a focal pieces that was actually rescued from an old belt. The belt had several detailed, stone studded metal disks linked together. This is one of those links. By adding some new metal jewelry findings I was able to convert the belt link into what I think is an special pendant.

I liked how the stones in the pendant coordinated with the beautiful vintage glass beads and echoed the round shape.
