I believe enjoying personal expression through art during the elementary school years is critical to complete personal development later on.

We have been so lucky this year... at my son's school we have a wonderful new Art teacher.

This is one of her first projects with the Upper Elementary class (4th, 5th and 6th graders)...beautiful New England fall trees with stems of black paint splattered with a straw.

So simple...they look beautiful together and I wanted to share them with you.
